1 cup cooked barley
2 cups cooked lentils
1 cup rice (with veggies) cooked
3 eggs
2 tbsp. Soy sauce
4 tbsp. Soy flour
2 tbsp. Butter
Mix ingredients all together
Preheat hot griddle with butter
to level Medium(4)
Spoon large amounts onto hot fry pan
Let them sit face down till brown
then flip and reduce heat(2)
and Cover / Prepare as burgers
We were amazed at how similar these tasted to real burgers.
The Barley gives it texture and the rice and eggs act as a binder.
Pressing the Burgers into the pan flattens them and helps them cook
into shapes like burgers without ever touching them! It's an easy way
to stay healthy and avoid costly beef. (Serves 8 Burgers)
